John Gray’s Kitchen – The most high end restaurant in town. Consistently good quality fusion food, great wine list. Closed Sunday.
Tanino’s – Alongside Chimmichurri. Wine bar with great baguettes and cheeses
La Terraza – Cosy den of good nutritious foods with Asian and Lebanese influences
Al Chimmichurri – The best Uruguayan steaks are here, great empanadas, south of town Square, the place to people watch
Govindas – At Sivandatha Yoga Hall north end of town, economical vegetarian
Los Gauchos – Uruguayan and Argentinian with home made pastas and bread. Closed Monday.
Pangea – Great healthy range of food, often great music. Closed Wednesday.
El Tejones Loco – Italian adjacent the Church, pasta and pizza
